For special quality

"ÜberBrücken" by Feline Knapp is more than a youth centre, it is a home for particularly challenging young people who build bridges for them. The home wants to pave the way for a hopeful future in a safe environment for social interaction and individual development. The institution supports the young people in overcoming their fates and brings them back to the centre of society with the help of the internal youth centre. Here they can arrive and finally stay. The work was accompanied by Prof. Günter Weber and Prof. Patrick Pütz.

The expressive presentation on a personal topic convinced the jury: "Children and adolescents who blow up the system are often marginalised or misunderstood. By reusing the building into a safe space, a bridge into today's society is built and the target group is given a home.”

Conceptual spaces of narrative quality and mirror of corporate culture: The new agency workspace tells a story inspired by places that stimulate creativity or where people usually build relationships. Nadine Marschallek makes communication areas more valuable in her work and complements them with a landscape of flexible working opportunities. This creates spaces in which you can stay away from distractions and join a living community in the next moment. The work was accompanied by Prof. Günter Weber and Prof. Timo Rieke.

The jury's justification: "The project 'The Other Office - Hybrid Working Needs New Typologies' convinces with well-thought-out, structured floor plans and harmoniously coordinated rooms. The innovative choice of materials gives the Workspace modernity and quality. The integration of conceptual spaces with narrative quality effectively reflects the corporate culture. The clear floor layout creates diverse working environments that meet the requirements of modern working methods.”
