"Reminci - Textile as a memory carrier"

It is a research on memories as an autobiographical image of one's own self. In doing so, she worked with and through material, embedding her own fields of memory as a haptic and visual landscape into the textile surface of an old bedspread. Glass beads, embroidery techniques, textiles, and clothing from her great-grandmother's archive served as carriers of memory for her. As a body-related object, these memory landscapes combine to form a larger picture of her self.
